My name is Jennifer Boland. I am born and raised in the Central Valley of California. I began my career as a door to door Kirby salesperson. I excelled but was very young and wanted to see what else was out there, and ended up in the automotive business. I tried to escape back in 2004 and that lasted about 3 months. I tell my friends and family "it's in my blood, I just love it". Some of them respond back "you just like stress". Maybe so... but it doesn't feel stressful when you are doing what you love. My Great Loves are Business Development, Customer Relations, and Low to No Cost Internet Marketing.
Like many of us in the business, I have been blessed to work for several dealerships. In most stores I've worked as a Customer Relations Manager and/or a Business Development Manager over the last several years and was fortunate to work with many great individuals. Along the way I have taken a sponge approach: to absorb as many ideas as possible to generate new opportunities as well as maximize current opportunities. Through my experiences I have become extremely well-rounded in these areas. Although I still learn something new Every Day. The Next Level for me was to begin my own company and help several great dealers who are committed to being the best they can be, so here I am.
I am currently consulting for a few dealers and also helping Small Businesses through our local Small Business Development Center. My main accomplishment for 2009 will be to publish a low-cost Internet Marketing Manual for Auto Dealers who want to do it themselves for pennies on the dollar. In it I will include my time-tested process for getting customers to respond and effectively staying in contact with all prospects not just the customers inquiring today.
I am excited for our future. I know that regardless of the economic conditions and industry talk, if we are committed, together we can accomplish great things and separate ourselves from the dealers that are okay with doing things the way they always have.
